VGdrum is a drumming project I started in the beginning of 2009 as a love letter to videogames and their music. Since then I have performed drum covers of videogame tunes both in my own basement and at gaming events like PAX East 2012 - 2015 and MAGFest 12 - 14. I have covered a variety of videogames, including classic compositions from the likes of Breath of Fire II, Mega Man X, Pokemon: Gold / Silver and Final Fantasy IV.

Please give my videos a look and a listen on my YouTube page. If you like it, please rate them and subscribe! And if you're a fellow game music fan who is interested in performing videogame music with me, please don't hesitate to contact me.

I'm back with a video I submitted to Square Enix's Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call "Legacy of Music" contest. The stipulations for this contest were that it had to be a cover of the "Main Theme" from Final Fantasy, had to be 1.5 minutes long, and required a sign to be shown at some point indicating your favorite Final Fantasy game.

I'm back and in *gasp* high-definition! And not only that - my drums are miked up for the first time ever. Super special thanks to my friend Phil, who with his trusty Macbook Pro and several drum mics, patiently waited for me to stop messing up all of my takes :P Hope you enjoy (plenty more recordings on the way)!

My last drum cover at my MAGFest 12 Jamspace performance. I love doing this one for the crazy fills and change-ups. Originally composed by Junichi Masuda.

File this under one of my most precious moments at MAGFest 12. Mega Ran invited me up to the stage to jam out "Grow Up," featuring Mega Man 2's "Wood Man" stage music. My deepest apologies for any drumming mishaps...I admittedly hadn't rehearsed this prior. But, I hope you enjoy it.
